Behind the front door of this Sunshine Coast home, hand-built in 1932, is plenty of history and a touch of Hollywood charm.
The Eudlo property was a popular holiday resort in the 1930s and 1940s, a strawberry farm in the 1950s, and a Devonshire Tea cafe in the 1960s.
And the interiors of the homestead have featured in martial arts legend Jackie Chan’s ’90s Hollywood film, First Strike.
The five-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 69 Logwoods Rd, is on the market for $1,350,000 million, and has a secret staircase.
Known as Logwoods Homestead, it was built using traditional methods and blackbutt and bloodwood timber felled on the 2.37ha site.
Define Property selling agent Athena Law said the current owners were looking to downsize and move closer to the beach.
“The home has become a popular location for wedding photoshoots, and while not currently a wedding venue, it’s not impossible,” Ms Law said.
“The owners built a barn on the property for their daughter’s wedding.”
Ms Law said there was plenty of scope for creatives to enjoy the homestead.
“I’ve had a bit of inquiry from people wanting to do something unique with the property, like a bed-and-breakfast. A lot of buyers’ agents have come forward and say they’ve never seen anything like it.”
