Retired tennis pro Andy Roddick and actress Brooklyn Decker have sold their former Austin, Texas, mansion for a little more than $4.6 million, according to property records.
The 15-acre property in Texas Hill Country, featuring a stone-clad two-story house and a host of high-end finishes, closed earlier this month after spending exactly one year on the market, according to a deed filed with the Travis County clerk.
The former No. 1 tennis player Mr. Roddick, 37, and Ms. Decker, 32, a home reno enthusiast whose Instagram is a feed of design ideas and project updates, turned a profit on their old Austin digs, according to property records.
They purchased the estate for around $3.7 million in 2013, records show, and proceeded to put “their own touches on the property,” listing agent Jonathan Creath told Mansion Global when the house listed last year.
The couple fitted the kitchen with trendy slab white marble, added a temperature-controlled wine cellar and converted the old master bedroom into a guest suite, according to the agent with Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty. Mr. Creath could not immediately be reached for comment on the sale.
The house now spans over 7,300 square feet, including five bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms.
The interiors feature rustic design elements, including wide-plank wood floors, exposed ceiling beams and stone accent walls.
Floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors lining the backside of the house flood the interiors with sunlight and frame the property’s tree-filled grounds.
