Cher has sold her Los Angeles-area pied-à-terre, a four-bedroom Tudor-revival mansion in the celebrity-favored Coldwater Canyon neighborhood.
A listing for the property updated over the weekend shows the cultural icon parted with the Beverly Hills house for $2.073 million. That marks a slight loss for the pop goddess, who paid $2.125 million for the home in 2013, property records show.
She’s not the first celebrity to live at the Gloaming Drive address. Decades before Cher, 72, "Modern Family" actor Ed O’Neill and his wife, actress Catherine Rusoff, owned the home from the late 1990s through the early 2000s, property records show.
The newest owner of the house won’t be known until a deed for the latest change in ownership is recorded in property records.
But it’s not surprising that the home is a magnet for celebrity residents. It occupies a half-acre lot surrounded on three sides by mostly undeveloped land, affording its residents a great deal of privacy, the listing agents previously told Mansion Global.
The timber-frame house was built in 1957 and recently remodeled, according to the listing with Branden Williams and Rayni Williams of Hilton & Hyland, who could not immediately be reached for comment on the sale.
The secluded house is surrounded by a lush garden, including a koi pond and meditation area. Inside, the home spans about 3,000 square feet with high ceilings, wide-plank hardwood floors and exposed ceiling beams.
The master bedroom has two fireplaces and a cozy sitting room lined in bookshelves.
