The report ranks countries on 6 key variables that support well-being: income, freedom, trust, healthy life expectancy, social support and generosity.
Singapore is top of the region for happiness, according to the World Happiness Report 2018, closely followed by Malaysia and Thailand.
Thailand last year's 2nd place of the region came to 3rd place in 2018... from an index of 6.424 and ranked 32nd among 156 countries in 2017 decreased to 6.072 in 2018 and ranks world's 46th.
Myanmar remains as saddest among the southeast asian countries. Brunei is still not in the study.
Globally, Singapore stands at 34th, Malaysia 35th, Thailand 46th, Vietnam 95th, Indonesia 96th, Lao 110th, Cambodia 120th and Myanmar 130th.
