19 Units of Nandawun Affordable Housing Project
The 22 units of Nandawun affordable apartments are being built in Monywa, Sagaing region. And of them, 19 units of apartments with 760 rooms have been completed and put up for sales since December 2017, said U Kyaw Kyaw Lin, Deputy Director of Sagaing Department of Urban and Housing Development.
“We are constructing 22 units of affordable apartments in Monywa including 11 units of apartment by the Department of Urban and Housing Development Headquarters and other 11 units of apartment by the Sagaing regional government. At present, the 19 units with 760 rooms have been completed in construction,” U Kyaw Kyaw Lin said.
The rooms have been on sale for the first time since December. Meanwhile, some rooms are still remaining under sales and anyone can apply to be able to buy Nandawun apartments at the Department of Urban and Housing Development.
“If the buyers of the ground floor place the complete payment at all, they will be offered 30 percent discount. Moreover, 15 years monthly installment plan is also provided. They are allowed to settle down at the end of June,” he added.
The ground floor of Nandawun affordable apartments is sold at MMK 18.7 million and the first floor is sold at MMK 17.7 million, the second floor is sold at 16.7 million, the third floor is sold at MMK 15.7 million, and the fourth floor is sold at 14.7 million.
“Those who want to buy the ground floor can be purchase at once. But, if they want to buy through installment plan, they have to follow loan procedures and obtain recommendation by the Department of Urban and Housing Development,” U Kyaw Kyaw Lin said.
