K 10 Million Low-Cost Houisng Project To Be Constructed

It is planning to construct the low-cost apartments worth K 10 million per each, according to the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Association.

The low-cost housing project is earmarked to construct 5-storey building including 20000 rooms and can be bought by whoever comes first. The payment plan is 70000 per month installment plan. The project has been submitted to the Yangon Regional Government.

“We want to construct the project in Yangon Region in order to meet the housing demands. Each apartment will value only K 10 million. It has been submitted to the Ministry of Planning and Finance, said U Ye Lin, a member of central committee under Myanmar Construction and Entrepreneurs Association. If the project is really implemented, it is good news for the public,” said a local people.

It has been asked to the government to deploy the project in Yangon city for a better transportation, U Ye Lin said.
