The High-Rise Building Projects With Available Space For Car Parking On The Land Of More Than 25 ft Front Area Will Get Construction Permit
When it is applied to built the high-rise buildings projects on the land with front area of more than 25 ft, the construction permit will be allowed only if there is available space for car parking.
The current high-rise buildings in Yangon have front area of more than 25 ft but there is no space for car parking. Therefore, traffic problems are being encountered. To solve this, that construction permit plan will be implemented, said a senior official of Yangon Municipal Committee.
According to the sources from Yangon Municipal Committee, it is known that the high-rise buildings which had been allowed to build in 2017 can be constructed normally but those which are applied to be built in 2018 can be constructed with car parking space.
Traffic problems and car parking problems are being encountered in the high-rise buildings in the Quarters, it is noted through the public.
“Previously, only if the front area was wide 50 ft, it was needed to include car parking space. But now, construction entrepreneurs are facing with difficulties in construction as car parking is needed only with front area of 25 ft,” U Htun Htun Lin, a construction entrepreneur said.
