Japan supports to run a trial on medium-cost housing project in Myanmar
It is known by Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Association (MCEA) that Japan Government will support to run a tiral on fair-cost housing project in Myanamr.
“It will be built on the two lands of 80 sqft and 60 sqft near Nwekhwe on No.3 road, Mingaladon Township, Yangon. It will be built with the support of Japanese technology, design and materials and will be started in January 2018,” said U Shein Win, Deputy Chairman of Myanamr Construction Entrepreneurs Association (MCEA).
“After running a trial of Pilot-Porject by cooperating with Japan, we can get support from Japan for the next projects,” he said.
The trail process will be built with the money donated from the Japan-Myanamr Association for Industry of Housing and Urban Development (UMHU), Japan Ministry of Transportation, Japan Construction Entrepreneurs Association. Two buildings will be built in different types on two lands. They will be 2 storey buildings with 4 rooms and 2-storey buildings with 2 rooms.
It is known that after the trail building has been completed, JCEA will access in bank loans projects. Therefore, the long-term credit system and long-term housing payment system can be developed.
