SIR Alex Ferguson has put his £3.5m home up for sale following the death of his wife Cathy.
The legend's five-bedroom, 7,000 square foot property in Wilmslow, Cheshire comes complete with a stylish open plan kitchen and games room.

It has now been sold to an unknown buyer after the asking price was knocked down to £3.25m in February. "This impressive, deceptively spacious detached property is situated on one of Cheshire's most desirable roads," said estate agents acting on Ferguson's behalf.
"Positioned within in a very private, gated and secure plot.
Walking distance of Wilmslow town centre and the train station.
This distinctive family home boasts approximately 7000 sq ft."
Ferguson and his wife Lady Cathy moved into the home in 2010 so that the legendary Manchester United manager's commute to the club's Carrington training ground would be shorter and the couple lived together there for over a decade.
However, following Cathy's death in October last year the house, which boasts a gym, a giant kitchen and a games room and bar fitted with a 'Ferguson clan' tartan carpet, was put up for sale.
Ferguson has since moved into a new £1.2m property in the village of Goostrey to be closer to his son Darren, who currently manages League One side Peterborough United, and his grandchildren.
