Orlando Bloom’s former dark-hued domicile in the Hollywood Hills’ Outpost Estates enclave has hit the market for a hair under $5 million.
The “Lord of the Rings” actor, 47, occupied the four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom Los Angeles residence in the early 2000s, along with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, 41.
During their time there, Bloom made the then controversial decision to have the facade painted black, a choice which upset the neighbors in 2007 — but has since come to be a popular look for exteriors.

“When Orlando did it, it was very controversial, and now it’s pretty trendy to have a black house,” Sam O’Connor of O’Connor Estates, who shares the $4.995 million listing with Claire O’Connor, told Mansion Global.
In 2009, the abode was raided by the notorious, celebrity-robbing band of teenagers known as the Bling Ring, who stole designer luggage, art and Bloom’s dwatch collection, Curbed reported.
