ADVICE on how to win the lottery was given by a man who won a whopping seven times.
Richard Lustig of Orlando, Florida, has won more than a million dollars and swears by these few tips.

“The three things you can do to increase your chances of winning a lottery game is to pick your own numbers and stick with them every time,” Lustig told Unilad on Friday.
“Set a budget.
“And never spend rent or grocery money to play a lottery game.”
Lustig also insists joining a lottery pool, just like Powerball winner Theodorus Struyck is a great way to increase your chances of a win.
Lottery pools allow you to get a sliver of winnings after going in under one ticket with multiple other people.
This makes the initial cost of buying lottery tickets cheaper so you can join in on more chances to win.
However, you will have to split the winnings with all the other people involved.
Struyck, 65, came forward as the winner of the $1.765 billion Powerball jackpot prize on March 15 and achieved his win through a lottery pool.
It is currently unclear how many people won in the pool. Lustig also recommends never using birthdays or anniversaries when choosing lotto numbers.
"If you pick your own numbers and only play birthdays and anniversaries, you’re splitting the pot with 20-40 people,” Lustig said.
