Jim Carrey, one of the world’s most beloved comedy stars, has listed his Los Angeles home for sale at a reduced price. The iconic actor, known for his expressive face and high-energy performances in comedy classics such as Dumb and Dumber, The Mask, and Ace Ventura, has put his sprawling estate up for sale at a now-reduced price of $26.5 million.

Originally hailing from Toronto, Carrey rose to fame in the comedy scene especially at local landmark Yuk-Yuks, honing his skills and making a name for himself. His comedic talent propelled him to international stardom, where he became known for his signature slapstick humor and larger-than-life characters. However, Carrey’s versatility as an actor shone through as he also achievedcritical acclaim for his dramatic roles in films such as The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Beyond acting, he has ventured into other creative pursuits, such as writing an award-winning children’s book and co-writing the novel Memoirs and Misinformation, and fine art that is often of a political nature that he shows via social media.
