Tom Cruise is romantically interested in Shakira, after the stars were seen in Miami this past weekend at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami.

An insider told Page Six Tuesday that the A-list actor, 60, 'is extremely interested in pursuing' the Colombian singer, 46, as 'there is chemistry' between the pair.

The South American songstress, whose full name is Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, parted ways with longtime love Gerard Piqué, 36, last summer amid allegations he had cheated on her with the woman he wound up dating following the split, Clara Chia Marti, 24.

The Hips Don't Lie singer 'needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom,' the source told the outlet of Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One star, describing him as 'a nice-looking guy, and... talented.'

The source noted of the stars, 'And she isn't taller than him,' as the Top Gun: Maverick star is 5-foot-7 while the Grammy-winner is 5-foot-2.

The pair were seen chatting on the starting grid of the race and in a private hospitality suite.

Shakira is mother to kids Milan, 10, and Sasha, eight, with Pique following their 12-year romance.

Cruise is father to three kids: Isabella, 30, and Connor, 28, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman; and Suri, 17, with ex-wife Katie Holmes.

There aren't many Hollywood stars who can say they've broken the box office as much as Tom Cruise. Not only is there a hugely-anticipated Top Gun sequel on the way, but he's also set to star in a new instalment of Mission Impossible.

Even though he's rapidly approaching the age of 60 the actor still remains to be in the centre of the Hollywood action genre. But despite his huge success, and life of glitz and glamour, you may be less familiar with the fact that the actor has links to Kent.

A very specific link in fact, as he's known to mingle with the people of Biggin Hill.

The area is more widely known for its role during the Battle of Britain in the Second World War, but Mr Cruise is now giving its residents quite a big claim to fame.

The actor, 59, recently snapped up a luxurious property in the small district which, according to the 2011 Census, homes under 10,000 people. It's thought his home is located in a very posh (of course) gated community, which covers more than 140 acres of land.

Not to mention Biggin Hill Airport isn't too far away and also offers private flights, which is sure to come in handy when Mr Cruise is jetting off on his travels. Over the years the actor has spent a lot of time in Bromley as he's worked there to film two back-to-back Mission: Impossible films.

What may surprise some fans more is he's actually spent a lot of time in this neck of the woods, as he also has connections to the South East.

He was once the proud owner of a £3m mansion in East Grinstead in nearby Sussex, but he put the property on the market back in 2016.

None the less something definitely keeps drawing him back to the UK, and he's even reported to have spent lockdown at Saint Hill Manor in the town.

An insider close to Cruise has spoke of how the superstar loves his time in England. The source said: “Tom has only recently moved to this new home, which feels like it’s practically in the countryside.

"He sees it as his rural bolt-hole, away from the hustle and bustle of London where he had been before.”

While the acting legend's whereabouts may be quite well-documented, fewer people know about the very ordinary life of his daughter.

Isabella Kidman Cruise, 29, daughter of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, has resided in South London for a while with her British husband Max Parker.

According to My London, the pair have lived in Croydon for a while where they share a pet reptile. Back in 2020 it was reported that Cruise's daughter, Bella, didn't want to live at her father's £342,000-a-month penthouse in London.

Instead Tom and Nicole's adopted daughter decided that a life out of the spotlight was more for her, and she chose to settle in London.

It's reported the actor owns a property at the historic Corinthia Residences in London with four-bedrooms, an indoor pool and incredible views of the cityscape.
