Six foreign investments approved to create employment opportunities for 1,904 workers, according to Yangon Region Government.

Yangon Region Investment Committee’s meeting No. (2/2020) was held at the meeting hall of the office of Yangon Region Investment Committee at Sein Lae May Lane, Yankin Township on January 29.The meeting was atteded by U Phyo Min Thein, Chief Minister for Yangon Region Government and the Chairman for the Yangon Region Investment Committee, U Han Tun, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Forest and Energy, Daw Moe Su Kyi, Minister of Immigration and Human Resources, Daw Naw Pan Thinzar Myo, Minister of Kayin Ethnic Affairs, U Myao Aung Htay, Secretary for State and Regional Government and departmental officials.

The Chairman of Yangon Region Investment Committee approved six foreign investment projects in Yangon Region in accordance with Myanmar Investment Law. The total capital of foreign investment is $ 9.852 million and it will create job opportunities for 1,904 local workers.
