Discussions on obtaining 50 million euros (ODA) loans from the Government of Poland at Pyidaungsu Hluttaw

Discussions on borrowing 50 million euros (ODA) loans from the Government of Poland for the implementation of the project for waste disposal was made at the second day of the 15th regular session of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, according to reports.

At the meeting, Hluttaw (Parliament) representatives discussed the matter of obtaining 50 million euros (ODA) loans from the Government of Poland for the implementation of the project to clean up and dispose of rubbish in the Yangon Region City’s municipal area.

In regards to the loan, five Pyithu Hluttaw representatives and seven Amyothar Hluttaw representatives discussed the plan and the majority of MPs are in favour of the project and only a few made just comments.

U Maung Maung Ohn from Ayeyarwady Region Constituency No.4, U Aye Naing in Dagon Myothit (South) constituency and Dr.Saw Naing from South Okkalapa constituency discussed in favour of the project.

In this regard, U Ye Myint Soe from Yangon Region Constituency No.7, U Win Min from Hlaing Tharyar Township and U Than Soe (@) Than Soe (Economic) from Yangon Region Constituency No.4, U Maung Maung Oo from Insein constituency, U Aye Bo from Yangon Region Constituency No.11, U Kyaw Naing from Yangon Region Constituency No.12, U Myo Win from constituency No.8 in Mon State; U Bo Gyi from Chauk constituency and Dr. Win Myint of Bago Region Constituency No.11 discussed the matter too.
