U Myint Myint, chairman of Yangon Gold Entrepreneurs Association, said there has been discussion with the UK about purifying gold in Myanmar. Purifying gold would be made within Myanmar and the purified gold would be sold back to the UK market.
The UK-based firm can produce a first-class standard of 99.99% gold as well as remove residues in gold, according to him.
Moreover, purifying gold process would be developed only if cooperating with foreign countries.
