Amid his success, "The Glory" actor Lee Do Hyun recalls his humble beginnings doing part-time jobs and living in a small house.
The revenge series, starring Song Hye Kyo, Lim Ji Yeon, Park Sung Hoon, Jung Sung Il, and more, the 27-year-old heartthrob gained massive popularity after portraying the role of soft-spoken doctor named Joo Yeo Jung.
Lee Do Hyun proved that he could keep up with his seniors in the industry by showing how versatile he is to play the role.
Interestingly, the actor has a fair share of ups and downs before becoming one of today's in-demand stars.
From Doing Part-Time Jobs to Building His Family's New Home
As mentioned by a media outlet, during his appearance in the latest episode of "Yoo Quiz on the Block," the actor shared that he used to do part-time jobs since he was young.
The actor also mentioned helping his mother deliver newspapers while his first part-time job is being a photographer and taking family photos.
Host Yoo Jae Seok then brought up the topic about Lee Do Hyun's new home. The actor revealed that he and his family lived in their humble home for 20 years, but finally moved into a bigger home.

Lee Do Hyun described it as a "very narrow house" but had "large windows," which made the ventilation good.
Recalling how he acquired their current family home, the actor got honest and shared that he felt uncomfortable holding a lot of money.
"It was very strange when I remitted the deposit," he said, talking about their initial step of buying their house, adding, "It was a lot of money, so my hands were shaking."
Viewers and netizens were moved by Lee Do Hyun's life story. Some wished that him live an exciting life while he is still young while others said that they are rooting for him after watching "The Glory" with Song Hye Kyo.
