Some reports recently surfaced revealing Lee Seung Gi had purchased a 5.6 billion KRW (5 million USD) house in Seongbuk-dong.

The period of purchasing the house coincided with the time he began dating actress Lee Da In; therefore, there were many speculations that Lee Seung Gi had bought the house with the plans of getting married.

Many rumors and speculations that the two celebrities are preparing to get married because Lee Seung Gi had bought a two-story house in Seongbuk-dong soon after dating Lee Da In. However, it seems that these speculations are false as Lee Seung Gi registered his one-man agency to the address in Seoungbuk-dong.

In fact, Lee Seung Gi set up a new, one-man agency after announcing his sudden departure from Hook Entertainment earlier this week.

A video titled “Kyeon Mi-ri is about to have a son-in-law? Shocking evidence of Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in’s marriage rumors” was uploaded on the Youtube channel of reporter-turned-Youtuber Lee Jin-ho on June 8th.

In the video, Lee Jin-ho revealed that Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in are not just lovers but they are also partners in business.

Accordingly, Lee Jin-ho said, “Lee Seung-gi purchased a 5.63 billion won detached house in Seongbuk-dong at the end of 2020”, adding, “The male actor registered his one-man agency Human Made to the address of this building and began his entertainment business.”

Lee Jin-ho continued, “However, complaints against Lee Seung-gi appeared as soon as he publicized his romantic relationship but the new agency Human Made failed to respond to the situation properly, which resulted in Lee Seung-gi renewing the contract with his old agency HOOK Entertainment”, adding, “The detached house was eventually registered as the workplace for a new company. Founded in January this year, the company established by CEO Kim conducts business brokerage, wholesale and retailing of household goods.”

Revealing that Lee Da-in was registered as an in-house director for the building owned by lee Seung-gi, Lee Jin-ho emphasized, “Lee Joo-hee registered as the building’s in-house director is the real name of Lee Seung-gi’s lover Lee Da-in. The owner of this detached house is still Lee Seung-gi.”

Lee Jin-ho pointed out the firm relationship ween Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in, saying “Human Made, which used to take this Seongbuk-dong detached house as its business location, moved to a smaller building in Sindang-dong”, adding, “All the core businesses he (Lee Seung-gi) set up with great ambition were given up for Lee Da-in”.

He added, “This is also the reason why rumors of the two’s marriage reignited. In fact, Lee Seung-gi even stepped forward and revealed his position through some media outlets when Lee Da-in suffered due to the public’s attention”, adding, “Attention is focused on whether the two will actually get married soon”.

Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in confirmed their romantic relationship when they were reported to have visited the house of Lee Seung-gi’s grandmother in Sokcho, Gangwon-do in May last year.

Lee Da-in is actress Kyeon Mi-ri’s daughter and actress Lee Yoo-bi’s younger sister. Lee Da-in’s stepfather was sentenced to 4 years in prison and ordered to pay a fine of 2.5 billion won in the first trial in 2018 for his involvement in a stock price manipulation. Because of Lee Da-in’s family background, fans sent trucks to Lee Seung-gi’s house to protest against his romantic relationship with Lee Da-in.
