Rising house prices, surging cost of living and nagging children... are three headache symptoms not troubling Mark Wahlberg right now.

The movie star has made himself feel right at home amid his temporary residence in Sydney, moving into a preposterously priced three-storey mansion while filming his new flick Play Dirty.

The property — which sold in April 2020 for a staggering $51 million — is estimated to have doubled in price since changing ownership due to the city’s rising house prices.

Overlooking the iconic harbour, the opulent playhouse is based in Point Piper, often considered the most prestigious postcode in Sydney.

Reportedly breathing the same rare air as ex-PM Malcolm Turnbull and Atlassian billionaire Scott Farquhar, Wahlberg’s estimated $600 million net worth will fit right in.

Boasting five bedrooms, an expansive balcony, multiple pools, a home cinema, and a seven-car garage, the fitness fanatic might get lost wandering solo around the residence.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, the 52-year-old revealed it wasn’t all smooth sailing at his harbour digs.

“I’m not the owner of the house, but it’s been cool. The only difficult part is that I’m so far away from my family,” he said.

Filling his time between shoots, the Pain and Gain actor has been promoting the apparel brand Municipal which he co-founded, as well as Flecha Azul Tequila, an “ultra-premium” tequila brand he is considered a principal investor of.

Adding to his exclusive inner circle, the avid golfer announced to his 29.5 million Instagram followers he was treated to a round by Gretel Packer at the highly coveted Ellerston Golf Club managed by the Packer family.

Wahlberg stars in Play Dirty alongside Oscar nominee LaKeith Stanfield, Dermot Mulroney, and Rosa Salazar, directed by Iron Man 3’s Shane Black.
