Former Party Pad in Miami Beach, Still Boasting a $2 Million Golden Toilet, Is Back on the Market

A waterfront home in Miami Beach with a history of notable owners, including one who installed a gold toilet worth $2 million, is headed back onto the market for a hair under $35 million.

Previous owners of the sprawling mansion on Palm Island, which has round-the-clock police security, include record producer Scott Storch, Rockstar energy drink founder Russell Weiner and rapper Birdman, who is the party responsible for the gilded lavatory, which still remains in the home.

The current owners, who aren’t particular fans of the bathroom fixture, have kept it nonetheless “because it’s in a bathroom, in a corner—it’s not affecting their eyes,” said listing agent Lourdes Alatriste of Douglas Elliman, who is bringing the home to the market later on Friday. “It’s not like it’s in the middle of the bedroom.”

Even though “it’s a conversation piece,” the toilet is certainly not the most interesting part of the home, Alatriste said.

Instead, the charms of the home—which was last on the market for $35 million a year ago—lie within its location and size.

The owners, who hail from France, acquired the property from Birdman in 2020 for $10.85 million using a trust, records with PropertyShark show.

The heart of the property is its sizable great room with water views, and it’s joined by a sleek chef’s kitchen, a home theater, a gym, and a more than 2,000-square-foot primary suite with dual bathrooms, its own living area and a waterfront balcony.

There are also two detached guest houses, two pools, a four-car garage and a 100-foot dock.
