There are many extension township in Yangon,in which  Hlaingtharyar township  also include as extension and most developing township. It’s bordered Htantabin township in the north and west, Insein Township, Mayangone Township, Hlaingtharyar township along Yangon river at the east. Tom-Tay township in the south. Area is 67. 4 km and has 46 primary schools, 8 middle schools and 4 high schools. Among the new townships, Hlaing Thar Yar is the fast-developing township and transportation is the main  section for the township to develop. Pannhlaing Bridge connect to the TomTay township, and Aung ZayYa Bridge, BaYint Naung Bridge connect with other  townships easy to go, which bridges are main transportation roads in township. Hlaing Tha  Yar industrial zone ,The most biggest industrial zone in Myanmar and FMI City, Pann-hlaing housing are also locating in Hlaing-Thar-Yar Township. It is not only wide area but also unused detached houses and yards. Hlaing Tha Yar township is also fast developing township in Yangon.
