The township is locating in the centre of north division of the Yangon and it’s area is 6. 2 km. It is related Hlaing township in the North, Kyeemyindaing township in the west, Innya lake, Bahan, Mayangone township in the east, Sangchaung township in the south. There are 10 wards in township and 12 primary schools, 2 middle schools, 5 high schools. The main road of the Yangon city Pyay Road passing through this township and the famous and old aged Yangon university also existing in the township. Which was closed for a long time, but today building is going on animate for the ceremony of convocations. Furthermore township also opening  Yangon Distance University, Teacher Training Collage,  News and Information  organizations,  Sinmalite market, Junction square centre, Blazon store and Hlaedan centre. The crossroad Hlaedan of the township is the crowd people the whole day 24 hours and nearest of the Innya lake. According to the city estate, township has a lot of rentals market and for the only single people also can chose to living  in affordable prices wadens. The rental prices of the flat is two hundred thousand low prices and Innsein main road is the highest for rent. For conclusion, Kamayut is the most dense population township , also has famous and a lot of buildings, condos, flats and then one of the busy township in Yangon city.
