The state government is going to remove illegal squatters in the new ward in Myawaddy.
As the quarters (6/7) are being built on (549.91) acres of plots of land as an urban project, illegal residents are going to be expelled from this land within a few days, according to reports. The state government has planned the location for the people who really don’t have the place to live in. More than 200 homes have been removed in March, 2019 at the direction of the state government, according to reports.
According to the last report of January 11, 2019, a total of 204 homes was located in that place and the state government had difficulty in developing the urban project and so if necessary, it would use force to remove them.
Road and bridges, schools, parks, bazaars and monasteries would be systematically implemented as it is an urban project.
