Japan To Offer Low-Cost Housing Loans In Myanmar

Housing units for rent will be built for those who can’t afford to buy low-cost housings under the auspices of Japan according to the Department Of Urban and Housing.

It will cooperate with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and it will get a yen 200 million loan from JICA.

Low-income buyers can’t afford to purchase an apartment priced at around k 100 lakhs. What the people really need is housing units for rent. And so the first priority is to build apartments for rent for the households whose incomes are less than k 3 lakhs.

After taking out the loan, the required housing units are going to be built in the whole regions and states. The department is also preparing to make a plan for the design.
