Pop superstar Taylor Swift’s former West Village rental has finally found a buyer — at less than half its original asking price.
Swift loved the charming carriage house at 23 Cornelia St. enough to rent it for $39,500 a month back in 2016, when she was renovating part of her $50 million compound on Franklin Street in TriBeCa.
By 2017, the 21-foot-wide brick home, which was built in 1912, was on the market for a grand $24.5 million. It closed for $11.5 million.
The seller, David Aldea, bought it for $5.3 million in 2005.
The listing brokers were Corcoran’s Deborah Grubman, Laurence Carty and Markus Buchmeier.
Over the years, Aldea modernized the home and added a private garage and a pool.
The 5,500-square-foot space comes with four bedrooms, five baths and two half baths.
Details include double height ceilings, three fireplaces and hardwood floors.
In addition, the home features a chef’s kitchen and a dining room with “antique bricks from Paris,” a Murano chandelier and Lalique light fixtures, according to the listing — along with an Instagram-worthy roof terrace with city views.
