Exclusive: Wedding Bells Ring for Media Mogul David Geffen And Much Younger Boyfriend

The 3.25 acre property was developed in 2016 and owned by Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee President Casey Wasserman.
The buyer,DreamWorks founder David Geffen, made headlines earlier this year when he sold The Warner Estate to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos for a record-setting $165 million.
The two sales are among the most expensive transactions in Los Angeles this year. The 18,543 square foot residence was designed by architect Richard
Meier and includes white oak, stone and walls of glass. The floor plan offers gallery-like spaces that are both intimate and expansive with two staircases, an elevator and a great room with automated steel doors opening onto the lawn. Additional features include a 1,148 square foot gym, private theatre, 85′ tiled infinity pool and a pool house. The property was most recently on the market for $82.5 million.
The 80 year old billionaire wed his 30 year old boyfriend Donovan Michaels in Beverly Hills, they say. Two couples attended the small ceremony which was held in the shroud of secrecy. Congrats to all.
Geffen, a media mogul, is said to be worth $7.7 billion. He’s used much of his wealth in enormous acts of philanthropy, endowing museums, arts centers, and hospitals.
In the past Geffen was famously linked with Cher. But in more recent years he’s had a string of boyfriends. And now he’s tied the knot. Joni Mitchell sang that Geffen was a “free man in Paris” once. No more!
