This gorgeous $1.25M home comes with a winery — and it’s not in California

Sommeliers, breathe this in: a delightfully designed homestead that comes with a hobbyist vineyard. 

In College Station, Texas, a bucolic 10.5-acre estate featuring the 22-year-old Lone Hen Winery is set to hit the market for $1.25 million later this week, The Post has learned. 

That price tag includes the Hopes Creek Road property as it is, including the vines and wine equipment, as well as the main house and various outbuildings.

“In 1999, our love of organic gardening exploded into a 3-acre vineyard that rewarded us with good health, good wine and a beautiful place in which to live,” seller Victoria Sharpe told The Post, noting that the vineyard employs the “French model of viticulture” in which fruit clusters are limited in order to enhance the grapes’ flavor.

“There is no better place to be in the world than walking down a vineyard row at bloom time. The fragrance is amazing,” added Sharpe, who would make small-batch wine and collaborate with a local winemaker on special bottles using her grapes during her family’s two-plus decades owning the property. 

The 3,220-square-foot home came a few years before the vino farm, and was custom-built in 1993.

Sharpe sought to construct an abode that resembled the vintage homestead and paid homage to the area’s historic housing stock.  

The timeless result is a two-story, four-bedroom, three-bathroom residence with light-filled interiors; a charming, freshly renovated kitchen with painted cabinets; and a combined 1,200-plus square feet of porches spread over both floors and offering views of the vineyard and rolling countryside beyond it.
