The former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman hasn’t owned the 10,460-square-foot house, located in the city’s guard-gated community of Hidden Hills, for long.

He purchased it from actor Sylvester Stallone almost exactly six months ago, in early October, for $17.2 million.

Fogerty, 78, and Stallone, 77, both shielded their identities in the transaction, using a trust and a limited liability company, respectively, records with PropertyShark show.
Tucked away behind gates at the end of cul-de-sac, the more than 2-acre compound is “one of the most unique, special and private properties in all of Hidden Hills,” according to the listing with Jordan Cohen of Re/Max One, who didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
Set at the end of a long driveway, the five-bedroom main residence has a grand two-story entry, a theater room, a library, a massage room, and a “sensational center island kitchen” that opens up to the family room, which in turn leads to a covered patio, according to the listing.
Ideal for equestrian enthusiasts, amenities at the property comprise a four-stall barn, a tack room and a professional-sized private riding arena.
